About the Artist:
Originally from Oklahoma, a move to Chicago in 1989 provided Suzanne Leonard the opportunity to begin her art instruction and her art career. Now she considers Charleston, SC home and credits her daily inspiration to the vibrant art community, the vibe of the Lowcountry and friendliness of everyone she meets
After many years of study and work with watercolor, oil painting and fluid acrylic, Leonard has chosen to focus on the dynamic and unconstructed art form, fluid acrylic. By combining acrylic paint with other mediums, she is able to achieve her unique styles on trays and wall pieces that can be displayed indoor or in a covered outdoor area, which complements the coveted year-round outdoor living lifestyle.
