A high regard for history and architecture is part of Charleston’s DNA, and with Antunovich Associates of Chicago, we’ve found a fellow champion. A leader in both meticulous historic restoration and architectural innovation, The Jasper’s lead architect, Joseph Antunovich, made his mark in Chicago, a city famous for its wealth of architectural talent. For this project to completely replace a former 1950s apartment high rise, Antunovich, in partnership with LS3P and DesignWorks, has designed an important new Charleston building that adds to the city’s beauty and grace.

The Jasper’s form and neoclassical details are inspired by Antunovich’s study of Charleston’s rich architectural history and of other multi-story buildings downtown. Highlights of The Jasper’s eminently livable, lovely style begins immediately with enticing views from Broad Street sidewalks, the garden-lush entrances of terraces and patios, and the light-filled, grand lobby. Step inside, and you’ll see.
